2024-2025 Meal Plans
If you would like to purchase a meal plan or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, please visit Student Accounts located on the lower level of the Administration building.
If you have a question about the meal plans offered, please call CAS at (845) 257-3370 or visit CAS online at newpaltzcas.com.
All students that live on campus are required to have a Resident Meal Plan. Students that live off campus or commute are not required to have a plan but may find it convenient and economical.
All prices stated are per semester. Unused retail Dining Dollars carry over from the fall semester to the spring semester and expire at the end of the spring semester.
How to Modify your Meal Plan
- Log onto your my.newpaltz.edu account
- Click the "Students" tab.
- Click the "Money" link.
- Choose the "My Student Account" Link (Ensure you view the correct semester.)
- Click "Change My Meal Plan"
*Students are only allowed one meal plan change per semester. The deadline to make changes is by the close of business on the second Friday of the semester.
How to Check Your Meal Plan Balance
- Click here.
- Click "LOG IN HERE" on the left-side menu.
- Enter Credentials to log in.
- Select "I'm new here" below the BANNER ID NUMB field if it's your first-time login.
- Select "Forgot Password" below the Password textbox if a password reset is needed.
- Your "Balances and Recent Transactions" (including Meal Swipes, Dining Dollars, and Hawk Dollars if applicable) will be listed on your account homepage.

Resident Meal Plan - The Carte Blanche Plan
The meal plan price is $2,795.
The Carte Blanche Plan offers unlimited meal swipes at Peregrine Dining Hall. All students with less than 30 credits are required to be on this plan.

Recommended to first-year students living on campus, athletes, and students who seek special dietary needs. This meal plan allows students to dine at Peregrine Dining Hall as much or as little as they want with access to our allergen-friendly locations like Simple Servings and Simple Zone. This includes access to Veggin Out, our vegan and vegetarian destination.
Resident Meal Plan - 105/60 Plan
The meal plan price is $2,795.
The 105/60 Plan adds flexibility to your campus experience with a combination of meal swipes to Peregrine Dining Hall and 60 meal exchanges* that can be used at different cafes, c-store, and restaurants on campus.

Recommended to students who seek variety in their dining experience with access to 10 retail destinations and the all-you-care-to-eat Peregrine Dining Hall.
Note: Meal Exchanges do not include Starbucks.
Resident Plan - Flex 50 Plan
The meal plan price is $2,795.
With the 50 Plan, students enjoy access to all you care to eat Peregrine Dining Hall and all the retail destinations on campus. Students can enjoy ultimate flexibility at the different cafes, c-store stores, and restaurants on campus with the 1,550 Dining Dollars.

Recommended to upperclassmen students on the go who take advantage of available kitchenettes in their Residence Halls.
Meal Exchanges
Meal Exchanges are meals that students can exchange for a specific meal option at select retail destinations on campus. Meal Exchanges are accepted at all retail destinations except for Starbucks. Look for the Meal Exchange options on the menu labeled "Meal Exchange" in the GrubHub App. Meal Exchanges do not roll over from semester to semester. Additionally, Meal exchanges can be used at Peregrine Dining Hall.
Dining Dollars
Dining Dollars are sales tax-free funds that are conveniently loaded to your SUNY New Paltz ID Card. These funds may be used at any campus dining location and via the Grubhub app.
Receive Bonus Dining Dollars free! Dining Dollars may be added at any time in any installment of $25.
- A $10 bonus when you add $100.
- $25 bonus when you add $200.

Please Note: Unused Dining Dollars from the fall semester will roll over to the spring semester, provided a meal plan was purchased for the spring semester. Any unspent dining dollars at the end of the spring semester will be forfeited.
Non Resident Meal Plans
These plans are ideal for students who live off campus, faculty, and staff who want to grab a quick bite between classes.
10 Block | Price is $99
- 10 meal swipes can be used in Peregrine Dining Hall or as meal exchanges.
10 Block with $100 Dining Dollars | Price is $199
- 10 meal swipes can be used in Peregrine Dining Hall or as meal exchanges. $100 in Dining Dollars.
25 Block | Price is $249
- 25 meal swipes can be used in Peregrine Dining Hall or as meal exchanges.
Dining Dollars Plan A | Price is $100
- 110 in Dining Dollars.
Dining Dollars Plan B | Price is $200
- $225 in Dining Dollars.
